Letter To My Future Self

As I pen down these words, I am filled with a profound sense of wonder about the trajectory of my life and the incredible journey that lies ahead.

Dear Future Self,

How will your service be in God's vineyard?

Will the elevated status ever impede your commitment to joining believers in evening worship and diligently searching the scriptures? I acknowledge the demanding nature of higher professional roles, where the constraints of a 24-hour day may seem insufficient to manage the myriad responsibilities vying for attention. But, dear future self, I implore you to reflect on the importance of maintaining the expected level of commitment to the things of the Kingdom.

Undoubtedly, you will be blessed beyond measure, but in the midst of prosperity, do not forget your responsibility in sharing the gospel, strengthening the brethren, upholding truth and righteousness, and aligning with the purpose of God for your life. Recognize that you serve as a positive reference to other believers, a beacon illuminating the path of faith.

As you ascend to higher echelons, set a watch upon your heart to ensure that you are not lured out of the Kingdom. Remember, it is God's providence that has brought you thus far, and allowing ego into your heart could jeopardize your relevance on earth and eternal reward in heaven. Be the light that you are and continue to shine, drawing strength from sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

With the inevitable aging process, intensify your friendship with the Bible. Let it be your guide, your source of wisdom, and your solace. Your top position is not merely about owning titles and awards; it is an opportunity to shine your light to other high-standing figures in society who would listen to you because you have access. Remain humble and rest in God's help, for you will end strong, and you will finish well.

In the midst of corporate demands, never lose sight of your divine calling. Continually lean on the Holy Spirit for guidance and inspiration. The impact you make in both realms – the professional and the spiritual – is a testament to the Lord's exaltation and His reward for those who diligently serve Him.

Embrace the future with faith, humility, and an unwavering commitment to your higher purpose.

With anticipation and blessings,
