The School of the Spirit
In the School of the Spirit, accuracy is golden, patience is evergreen. Many a time, we are in a hurry to jump when we receive a clue from the Lord. As we grow in learning, we realize that it is important to move past the excitement of hearing, to checking with the Lord and ask - How high do you want me to jump? Oftentimes, the Lord will give express direction when he sees we are set to obey him to the letter. Let us take a look at 2 Kings 13:18-19 And he said, “Take the arrows,” and he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground with them.” And he struck three times and stopped. Then the man of God was angry with him and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck down Syria until you had made an end of it, but now you will strike down Syria only three times.” Had the king asked, how long Prophet?
