Wealth in The Calabash (Poetic)

My shoes walked off the closet

Never knew they have a mind of their own

I am only human after all

Do not put the blame on me

Guy, Are you Rag’n’Bone man?

Accepting your wrong brings true reflection

It is always them not me

I will be this if not for that

That is all I hear again and again

Those words have got to give way

Taking responsibility is maturity

Never repeating your mistake is wisdom

Take cues from your surroundings

Pay attention to things going on around you

Be mindful of your steps

No more blame shifting

I will own up

I will continue to try

Resilience will be my backpack

The end goal will be my focus

Jesus endured the cross

He gave no excuses

I will learn and grow

Never again condone my negligence.
